St. Xavier's High School, Loyola Hall for boys managed by the Society of Jesus and recognized by the Department of Education, Gujarat State. Though a catholic Institution, it welcomes pupils of all castes and creeds and prepares them not only through education but also develops their character and personality through graded responsibility, personal guidance and social awareness. With this vision in view and guided by the principles of the Jesuit Code of Education, the School makes a careful section of the pupils who apply and demands high standards in ideals and attainments.
The catholic Educators consider it as their duty to show due respect to the religious feelings and the freedom of conscience of them Non-Catholic pupils. However, external worship other than Christianity/Catholic is not allowed in the School premises. Catholic Students are given religious instruction, whereas Non-Catholics are taught Moral Science - a course in their fundamental duties to God, to their fellowmen and to self.

The foundation stone of St. Xavier's High School, Loyola Hall was laid by Reverend Father Fernando Arellano S. J. in the 45' centenary year of St. Ignatius Loyola 3.12.1956. -
The year 2009 marked the 75th year (Platinum Jubilee) of St. Xavier's High School, Loyola Hall, in the field of education. Sports began in the school in the fifties. Reverent Brother Vincent Bou S.J. was the stalwart and the pioneer of sports in St.Xavier's Loyola Hall. He is right by called the "Father of Sports' in Gujarat.

St. Xavier's High School, Loyola Hall prepares students for Secondary School Certificate and Higher Secondary School Certificate Examinations. It comprises the K.G. (Kinder Garten) and Stds I-X with one parallel division having Gujarati medium and three sections having English medium as the media of instruction. Those who study through Gujarati medium have English as an additional subject. The school also has Standards XI & XII of higher Secondary, to which girls are also admitted. Std XI & XII offers Science & Commerce Streams, the latter only in English medium.

The 'Platinum Play-Land' for the K.G. Section was inaugurated on 2nd April '09. The School also plans to change the parking arrangements, start a Science Laboratory for the High School and update the Primary Computer Room in the near future. The gymkhana was established by Br. Vincent Bon S.J. and conducts special coaching for skating, swimming, table tennis, chess etc. Right now Loyola Hall has one of the best (1) Turf Wickets (2) Concrete pitches for cricket (3) A swimming pool and another for small children (4) the first in Gujarat- 'Skating Bark Track-200 meters. (5) Two Basketball courts. (6) Hockey Ground (7) Football ground -Brother Bou pavilion with athletic tracks and filed.
